What is Love?
Over Eons of understanding and knowledge of life history, Do we still understood the true meaning of love? Are we clear about this most important feeling of our life? Have you ever given a thought, what is love?
Why your mother loves you so much?

Hope you are clear that we are not discussing an expression of love here. We are trying to understand how love affects our day to day life?
Does history teach us about love?
In India, there is dedicated literature on love and making love, “Kamasutra”.
One of the oldest contemporary literature, basically it describes love as an emotional attraction, way to celebrate love in many exciting ways, it also emphasises on the sensory enjoyment and aesthetic pleasures.
In Ancient Greek, love has been identified in five different forms,
❤️ Storge - Familial love, means love and affection, especially between parents and children.
❤️ Philia - Friendly love, means affectionate regards, friendship especially between equals like friends, brothers and sisters.
❤️ Eros - Romantic love, means love, mostly sexual passion or intimate love.
❤️ Xenia - Guest love, means a reciprocal relationship between guest and host.
❤️ Agape - Divine love, means the eternal love of God for his children.
Lets us imagine a life without love, have you imagined?
The world will be a picture of catastrophe! No peace will remain in this world.
That’s why love is the most desired feeling in the world. Which provides you affection, friendship and peace of mind from and to your dear ones.
Love is God
In religious terms, love is defined as a direct connection to God. Divine love to the almighty. Which is known as the purest form of love which creates bonding between not only the almighty but also within the children of the God i.e we all as a society shares the bonding of love. This relation can be named in several other ways like Friends, Neighbours, Relatives, Well-wishers and people who are helping each other even without knowing each other.
Love is commitment
Love is the best commitment the life has ever seen. It gives you the confidence to walk with a stranger by holding his/her hand throughout life. It shares the commitment for each other for being there, whenever there is a need. This commitment builds the very foundation of trust in any relationship. In another word, we can describe this as a most trusted unsigned agreement between two people or family, which we are very much sure it will never be breached.
Falling in Love
I am personally more excited about this topic of being falling in love for someone. Do you ever experience this magical feeling of falling in love with someone very special? Even thoughts about it give us goosebumps, then you can truly imagine how the true experience will be mesmerising. It is one form of love where you developed strong feelings for someone, with a desire to be with the person as long as you could. You started daydreaming about the one, and always be worrying about his/her whereabouts. It is the first stage of creating a space in your deep heart for the special one.
Love is friendship
Friendship is the most desired form of love, where we observe mutual compassion between two or more people simultaneously. Friendship is forever growing bond between friends. It always evolves over some time. When you are children, it shares the connection with common activities of childhood. When you mate in adolescence it becomes more spontaneous. When you reach adulthood, it shared companionship and finally when you get older, it shares the satisfaction of being there for each other.
It is the most commonly shared form of love in the world. In the twenty-first century, there are no boundaries which are stopping people of being friends. Now a day a positive exposure of social media enables people to contact and stay in touch with friends from a different country or all together with a different continent.
Love is bonding
Bonding is really hard to describe but yet it is one of the beautiful forms of love. You might have come across with this several times but yet unable to identify this special bonding between people and sometimes things. While you are having a pet at your home, you may have observed that you are somewhere connected to your pet. Sometimes this bonding is so overwhelming, a deep affection for each other sometimes may settle you at bad times or unsettle while you both are not around.
This relation does not require any words for communication, you’ll just know by looking at the eyes of each other. This bonding is always found between humans and animals, though we are different species we are sharing the bond of love.
Love is passion
If you describe love in a broader prospect, you can only call it as a “passion”. You need not even required to have human interaction for this form of love. You can fall in love with an idea, thought, music, literature, etc. Those who follow their passion will be agreed with me. A poet is passionately talking about his poems, a writer passionately writes his literature, a musician composes his music out of passion. Passion as a love form allows you to live with your desires throughout your lifetime with all of the regrets left behind.
Love is a relationship
A relationship defines the bond of love, between family, friends and a group of people. Since all the forms of love are not the same, they differ from their time of inception.
A mother-child, love of a mother can never be described even if create and fill trillions of libraries. I believe it is the divine relationship which is even created before you were born.
A friend, if anything happens in your life whether it is good or bad, whom you first shares with, I know obviously with family first but if you are not sure whether to share with family or no. Whom do you seek for advice, yes you are right its the friend in need, a friend indeed.
A father, I am not ranking father lower in the scale of relationships, I am just sharing the obvious pattern anyone would follow. Just we do fear our dad but mostly we do respect him a lot. He is our guide and principal of our life, in every firm and important decision of our life he is always there for us.
A life-partner, a life partner is the most magical person in our life, since our birth we have several relationships already in place. But life partner we eventually get over time. Rather we choose our life partner with wonderful experiences in the course of life.
Conclusion
Since love is a topic which will never be covered in a single article, will be coming back with more love and contents on it. Visit again to fall in love.
